Sony Z Series TV Reviews

I am sure glad that I found the Bravia Sony Z series TV! Without moving up to an XBR, the Sony Z series TV is definitely the way to go. If you check the specs - most high end features of the XBR are already in the Sony Z series TV, so it's a very good value with that point of view. I see why the Z is not available at 52 inch size because it would probably impact sales of the XBR. What a great looking TV (both picture and case). I'm extremely impressed with the blacks on the Sony Z series TV as well as the vivid colors. The amount of picture calibration offered on this set is amazing - especially when compared to my old Westinghouse. I find 24p mode on Blue Ray to be quite impressive - it really produces a whole new level of enjoyment to viewing Blue Ray movies. The 120hz mode is also remarkable while watching football. I really can't say enough good things about my Sony Z series TV - spend the extra money that the Sony Z series TV demands, and you get what you pay for.

I decide on the Sony Z Series TV for the following reasons;

a) No bezel glare or glossy screen glare!
b) small bezel allows larger screen on wall space
c) 3" depth on "in-wall mount"
d) 1080P/120HZ/motion control

The Picture Quality on the Sony Z series TV is so crystal clear......... just great! Awesome bright, vivid colors! There are so many features and a breaze to set-up.

My wife loves the brushed metal and said, "there's no glare, doesn't look like those 'black plastic' frames". She's candid (LOL) and is in love with the awesome PQ of the Sony Z Series TV, when watching her baseball.

I'm using an in-wall mount and the 3" depth gives the illusion of a picture on the wall. The "46Z" is perfect from 9-11 ft. Friends love it!

I'm still making the viewing adjustment from a 27"CRT floor console. My eyes do more tracking on this larger screen of the Sony Z Series Tv.

In the Xross Media Bar setup menu of the Sony Z series TV it is easy to get lost in the enormous amount of controls at the user's disposal. This may seem like a minus, but it really is a plus. LCD TVs are known for being slim, but the Sony Z series TV really outdoes the competition. The one-inch thickness should allow it to fit most anywhere--especially on the wall. If you're finding a state-of-the-art LCD TV, look no further than the Sony Z series TV. Its picture and features will amaze you.
